The Annual Festival on the Avenue will be held on April 6-8.
The weekend’s festivities get underway at 7 p.m. on Thursday at The Living Museum, Mt. Zion Enrichment Center on Fulton Street, which lasts until 9 p.m.
The 6th annual Golf Tournament has a shotgun start on Friday that tees off at 8 a.m. with a four man Captain’s choice format.
A Taste of Soul on the Avenue live music gets underway at 6 p.m. on Friday at the Farmer’s Market next to the South Sumter Resource Center and goes until 9 p.m.
Saturday’s parade begins at 10 a.m. at the corner of South Main and Bartlette streets and there will be fun, food and music for the whole family until 4 p.m. on Manning Avenue.
Vendors, sponsors, clubs and talent are welcomed.
