The Sumter County Cultural Commission and the Sumter YWCA are cooperating on an art installation project to raise awareness about domestic violence and sexual abuse.

Carmela Bryan, the commission’s executive director, said she’s looking forward to the show’s opening at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 9 at Patriot Hall. There will be guest speakers and attendees can expect to receive plenty of information about these important issues.
