RFP #02-15/16 Request for Proposal for City of Sumter Public Services Complex and Associated New Facilities Construction Manager at Risk (CM-R)

The City of Sumter, South Carolina is requesting qualified firms to submit technical and cost proposals and to participate in a formal interview (if requested by the City), all as described herein, to further define the firm’s qualifications to serve as a Construction Manager-At Risk (CM-R) for the City of Sumter Public Services Complex and Associated New Facilities. The successful firm will be asked to provide preconstruction and construction management services in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements set forth in the Request for Proposal documents.

It has come to the attention of Sumter County EMS that some of our citizens are receiving phone calls in an attempt to collect a debt for services received. We want all of our citizens to know that we will not place a phone call to individuals in an attempt to collect a debt for services we have provided we correspond through mail unless you contact our office directly.

Standing Ready…..  


October is a pleasant time of year; cool mornings, fall color changes, and all of the other nice thoughts brought to mind by this time of year.  However, Sumter County, for the past three Octobers has been a very tough month.  In 2014, Sumter had an Ice Storm that hit the central part of our State from around Aiken through Sumter to around Marion, South Carolina; in 2015, Sumter experienced the “1000 Year Flood”; and in 2016, Hurricane Matthew came with a fury.
