When: Thursday, February 12th (opening reception from 5:30-7:30 pm) through April 12th, 2015
Where: Sumter County Gallery of Art, 200 Hasel St., Sumter, SC 29150 (adjacent to Patriot Hall on Haynsworth St.)
Cost: If you are not a member of the gallery, there is a $5.00 charge for the opening reception. At all other times admission is free

August 21, 2017, was a special day in Sumter County as all citizens and thousands of visitors enjoyed the spectacular totality of the 2017 Solar Eclipse.  The weather was perfect, even the clouds gave up their place for a clear sky hours before the Solar Eclipse at 2:43 p.m. eastern standard time.
