CLOSURES:
Sumter County Government is closed Thursday, Sept. 13 and Friday, Sept. 14
Sumter School District is closed Tuesday, Sept. 11 to Friday, Sept, 14
City of Sumter offices are closed Thursday, Sept. 13 and Friday, Sept. 14
Sumter County Convenience Centers and the Landfill will be closed Friday, Sept. 14 to Sunday, Sept. 16 and expect to reopen on Monday, Sept. 17
SHELTERS:
Mayewood Middle School at 4300 East Brewtington Road is open. The American Red Cross and the S.C. Department of Social Services are in charge of the shelters. No pets are allowed.
Sumter High School at 2580 McCrays Mill Road. No pets are allowed.
