Reconstruction and expansion of a gym that provides the surrounding community with recreational and flex space that would serve the community for meetings, events, etc.
- Demolish the existing structure that is showing signs of age and distress and has limited options for usefulness.
- Construct a new gym that provides the surrounding community with recreational opportunities for all ages, as well as flex space that would serve the community for meetings and other community events, etc.

- SC Parks, Recreation & Tourism has already issued a matching grant to the City of Sumter in the amount of $500,000 to improve this park.
