The Sumter County Recreation & Parks Department (PARD) provides an array of recreational opportunities for our citizens. From sports for kids, to fun things for senior citizens, and everybody in-between!

Also, there are numerous Community Centers scattered throughout Sumter County offering activities for all the family.

We hope you'll take advantage of the many fun activities offered throughout Sumter County!

Participation fees vary by sport and age group, so be sure to check out the information pages for the sport you are interested in, or feel free to contact us.

Basketball Registration Beginning

Registration for the 2012 basketball season begins on Oct 29, 2012, and ends on Nov 15, 2012.

Workouts and Pick Teams  will be on Nov 19, 2012 for 5&6, 7&8, and 15-17 Yr Olds

Workouts and Pick Teams  will be on Nov 20, 2012 for 9&10, 11&12, and 13&14 Yr Olds

The regular season will begin on Jan 2, 2012.

Teams are formed and practicing, and as the season approaches, are anxious to compete.
